Times they are a-changin’. With retirement from the very serious Grove City College, I plan to write, make music, and laugh a lot. Tune in to find out what’s going on.

I write about Christian nationalism, religion, history, and politics. I once considered myself center right, now I am pretty firmly in the center, and am politically an independent. I agree with George Washington that party spirit is harmful.

I am making music for my podcast which is titled Telling Jefferson Lies. The musical style is instrumental, designed to provide a reflective background to reading and studying. Listen to some early tracks at Amazon or Spotify or just about anywhere you get your digital music. More music has been used on the podcast segments and will be available via another project in the near future.

A new book is coming in 2026 titled The Christian Past That Wasn’t: Debunking Myths That Hijack History. Stay tuned to learn more about that.

The first thing I did after retirement was complete the second and third editions of Getting Jefferson Right: Fact Checking Claims about Our Thomas Jefferson. Co-author Michael Coulter and I released the 3rd edition in early 2025.

As noted previously, the second project is a podcast series titled Telling Jefferson Lies. It has gone on over 30 episodes with several more episodes to come. It is ranked in the top 3% of all podcasts.
