Yes, I agree, but my point is that it's pointless to ask Christians who believe gays are an abomination "WWJD" because they will claim they're doing exactly what Jesus would do in their position.
I've interacted with enough right-wing Christians to know that regardless of how much you point out that their bigotry and prejudice is the antithesis of what Jesus taught, they will continue to believe they're doing the Lord's work.
